If you can only download the preview file but you need the original AI file, that's what you can do. If you choose the artwork in Brand Studio 360, click Download and see this (only Preview file available for download):
It's most probably because you don't have permission to access other file formats.
If you need other file formats, call out to your brand owner contact to get a higher permission set.
There are four different roles and permissions:
Repro - with permission to download preview files, resource files and delivery files.
Viewer - with permission to download all preview files.
Basic - with permission to download and share all files.
Owner - with permission to move, delete and share folders and files. Can add users.
