Lightbox seats

Summary: Lightbox seats give named people access to the Lightbox desktop app for one organisation. They cost €8 per seat per month, are sold only by Cway sales, and are not included in any package or trial.

How Lightbox access works

A person has Lightbox access when both conditions are met:

1. They hold a Lightbox seat in the organisation currently selected in the Lightbox app.
2. That organisation pays for at least one Lightbox seat.

If either condition is not met, the Lightbox app shows that no licence is available.

Lightbox seats are per organisation

• The customer organisation pays for Lightbox on behalf of its suppliers.
• A supplier who works for several customers needs a Lightbox seat from each customer.
• Access follows the selected organisation. Example: a printer holds a Lightbox seat from customer A but not from customer B. The printer has Lightbox access while customer A is selected, and no access while customer B is selected.

Lightbox rules apply everywhere

Unlike Project seats, Lightbox seats are enforced in all organisations:

A Project seat does not include Lightbox access. Project Enterprise does not include Lightbox seats.

Buying Lightbox seats

• Lightbox seats are sold only by Cway sales, in an offer or added to your existing subscription.
• Customers cannot buy Lightbox seats in the billing settings.
• Emails about Lightbox seats direct you to contact Cway.
• Adding Lightbox seats to a subscription from before the 2026 pricing does not change the rest of that subscription.

Reducing, cancelling and late payments

• Fewer seats: the most recently granted Lightbox seats are released until the number fits. Seat managers receive an email.
• Cancellation: all Lightbox seats are released.
• Late payment: while a payment is late and being collected, seat assignments are kept, but Lightbox access is paused until the payment succeeds.
